TRACE

Beechwood’s  are  misterious  and  magical  places, often  darkish,  with  only  the  dappled  light filtering though  the leafy  branches  that  form  a canopy high  above. Contrasting  with  the  ancient beech’s  and their  sweeping  branches  that almost touch  the  ground.

TRACE  is  a  collection  of  photographs  depicting the  delicate  detail  and  varid  markings  that  seem to be  etched into the  bark of  the  Beech  tree’s,  the soft  light  brings  out   the  subtle  lines, and textures on  the  bark,  and  the tones  of  grey and  green suggest  calm,  and  the  small  sized  print  intimacy.

Trace is an on-going series, occasionally new images are added.
